By no means was this cake worth $90. When making icing, you can use milk instead of water, but the milk can spoil and thus spoil the icing. I always use water and my icing turns out great. I would definitely ask for my money back. Clearly, this is a case where the baker saw a chance to make money off a mom who needed a cake for a birthday party and didn't want to disappoint her little darling. If nothing else, bad reviews spread a lot faster than good ones. They'll probably have fewer customers because of this blunder.

By first glance, I thought it was a Costco cake. Then, I read your article and I am shocked. This bakery needs to be denounced. I'm so sorry your family got ripped off.

I'm Amber's grandma, and no one was impressed with this, sour tasting, so called cake.

It's bad when no one eats the cake.
(We cut a piece for everyone and not one person would eat the cake after the first bite. it was BAD!)

Not to mention it was no where near what she ordered.

The owner is on holidays for a week. So I guess we will have to wait to see what they will do about the price my daughter paid.
Not to mention the cake was spoiled, a.k.a.: bad, bad, bad!!

Thank you for writing about this place.
If we can keep one other person from being sick and disappointed then you have done a great thing.
